Rachel Raspberry™
Raspberries date back to prehistoric times, in eastern Asia and the Western Hemisphere carried across the Bering Strait.  Raspberries became more popular in Europe and North America in the 19th century.  The raspberry is a member of the rose family.  Red raspberries contain ellagic acid, which works as an antioxidant.  They may work against cancer, have B vitamins, manganese, vitamin C, riboflavin, folate, niacin, magnesium, potassium and copper and dietary fiber which affects levels of blood sugars.
